Over the years of travelling to Kenya and Tanzania we have talked to lots of people, seen many things, taken many photos and received many letters. Here are some of those images to delight and inform you.

The Book Box Travels page contains the flash slideshow (2010) slideshows (2008 & 2009 each broken up in to parts) and videos (2006 & 2007 and earlier) of our yearly visits.

The Photo Albums page contains the all the parts of the slideshows for 2008 & 2009 as well as the slideshow of the Corn Roast Fundraiser from the summer of 2009.

The Letters from Africa page contains scanned letters written to the African Children's Book Box Society by schools that benefited from the book boxes.

Dr. Leena's Reports page provides the first hand account of Dr. Leena Pasanen who has been working as a paediatrician in the Ilembula Hospital in Tanzania since 1981. The hospital has over 10,000 patients per year, and many more visits to its clinics. Over 2,000 deliveries take place there every year.
